1988-1991 Studium an der/ studied at China Academy of Art, Hangzhou, China  
1992-1998 Studium an der/ studied at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Germany  
2000 Artist in Residence Program of the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, Bethany, Connecticut, USA  
2006 House of Light - Chen Ruo Bing Museum founded in Jiaxing, P.R. of China
